About Me

Thanks for taking the time to check out my website.   I truly believe that relationships don’t have to be painful and want to help you in your journey to finding more satisfaction and contentment.

I specialize in working in the following areas: helping couples with their relationships, including treating affairs, infidelity, and sexual issues.  I specialize in feeding and eating issues, issues around self esteem and body image. I specialize in helping those who are in the process of ending a relationship and moving forward with their lives.  I specialize in helping teens and 20 somethings to find themselves and successfully cope with anxiety and build relationships.

I know that it often takes alot to make that first step toward seeking help, so I make it my priority to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible.  Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.  You can reach me at ( or (904) 662-6130).

To give you a bit of information about myself, I have been a practicing therapist for over 8 years, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida (MT2819).  I have a doctorate in Social Work, and I focused my studies on the treatment of trauma. I hold two Master’s degrees: one in Marriage and Family Therapy from Auburn University, and a second Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville.

Beyond practicing therapy, I teach college classes online to students throughout the country.  My research is published in peer reviewed journals and college textbooks.

My approach is collaborative; you are the expert on your experience!  I use several approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and dialectical-behavioral therapy.

This work is my passion as well as my vocation- if we can’t figure it out, I will try to connect you with someone who can!
